The UK’s Ambulance Services are searching for international paramedics to help meet their current emergency health care demands and with Australian paramedics being some of the best trained in the world they look favourably on Australian qualified applicants.
The Ambulance Services are part of the National Health Service (NHS). They respond to calls from the public, urgent calls from healthcare professionals as well as providing non-emergency services and non-emergency patient transport services across the UK.
The Ambulance Services wish to recruit candidates who are eligible to register with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC) and hold a BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc or BSc award in paramedic science or practice.
Applicants must also demonstrate care and compassion with patients and have a vast knowledge of pre-hospital care with the ability to deal with stressful and sensitive situations.
